In the last few days, video game publisher EA Sports has unveiled simulations of the careers of Juraj Slafkovsky and Shane Wright.

The Canadiens' first pick would have a magnificent NHL career. In 1233 games, the Slovakian would collect 1183 points, including 421 goals. Slafkovsky would also win three Stanley Cups and a Conn Smythe Trophy.

For his part, Shane Wright would have 1336 points, including 505 goals in 1341 NHL games played. He would only win a Stanley Cup, but he would win a Hart Trophy and a Lady Byng Trophy.

Wright would have a better individual career than Slafkovsky, but the Canadiens player would triumph collectively with his three Stanley Cups.

It's still just simulations, but it's always interesting to see what comes of it.
