We know the Flames' front office is ready for substantial changes.

Insiders say huge names like Matthew Tkachuk, are not untouchable.
Add to that the fact that The Athletic's Jeremy Rutherford raised Tkachuk's name earlier this summer. Tkachuk's $7 million deal expires in the summer of 2022, making him a restricted free agent.
Postmedia's Bruce Garrioch then added that the Flames' GM would be willing to sell numerous key players:
- The St. Louis Blues are reportedly keen on Matthew Tkachuk.
- The Ottawa Sens and Carolina Hurricanes are allegedly interested in Sean Monahan.
Brad Treliving is open to ideas.
In recent days, The Athletic's great Hailey Salvian has added another layer, effectively confirming Monahan's exit from Calgary.
She believes he may help the Flames' defence and be replaced with an in-house player or Christian Dvorak, a young centre available in Arizona.
"No more Calgary for him. A move is unlikely, considering he has two years left on his contract and I doubt he'll return."
