The 2022 Winter Olympics is quickly upon us. It's an exciting time for all hockey fans around the world, especially now that NHL, NHLPA and IIHF were able to come to an agreement to allow NHL players to participate in these olympics. That means we will be seeing some Montreal Canadiens participating in this tournament for their respective home nations.

Carey Price - Team Canada
Carey Price is a sure fire player to make it on Team Canada. Being one season removed from a Stanley Cup Final appearance, and backstopping this team to an Olympic gold back in 2014. It would be extremely hard not to see Carey Price in net for the 2022 Olympic team.
Jan Mysak - Czech Republic
Considering Mysak played for the mens team a few times last season. This young centre is young enough to play for Czech's world junior team as well, but his speed and energy will be some attributes the Czech's might not be able to pass up on. In addition to his elevated work rate, great skating and offensive prowess.
Jeff Petry - USA
Petry's emergence the last few seasons earned him this right to play at this elite level for one of the best countries in hockey. He plays the style of defence the USA is looking for with his up-tempo and mobile game. Playing on an always strong USA team, he will most likely be a bottom pairing D-Man that will be relied upon to be highly effective in his role. He will also be able to step up if necessary.
Alexander Romanov - Russia
The big red machine will absolutely love Romanov in his first Olympic Games. Romanov will be a mainstay for Russia for many more Olympics to come. Romanov has played in two WJC and winning the top defenceman award in 2019. Russia is deep upfront, Romanov provides that talent on the back end they desperately need.
