Player Re-Instated Following Long Stint in NHLPA Player Assistance Program
Jakub Vrana was reinstated by the NHLPA players assistance program today.
He joined Red Wings practice, and will hopefully be back in game-form soon.
He's been in the program for almost 2 months, joining in in October 19th, the first week of the regular season.
More players have been entering the players assistance program since Carey Price made the move himself. Hopefully this is pointing towards a direction of a more nurturing NHL, and the stigma around player mental health is fading.
