It was definitely weird seeing Patrick Kane in a jersey other than the Chicago Blackhawks last season. We now know when we'll get to see him in another one.
Kane's Timeline
As many are aware, Kane made it public when the New York Rangers were eliminated from the playoffs that he'd been through severe hip pain. He had his hip re-surfaced over the summer and is not training for his eventual comeback. As for when that will be, Kane said he won't negotiate with any NHL team until near the end of October, putting his return somewhere around the first week of November. Kane also insisted he would provide teams with medical updates on his procedure and how the rehabilitation has been going.

The Frontrunner
As for where Kane will end up this season, there are a few options. The most talked about have been the Vegas Golden Knights, New York Rangers, LA Kings, and Buffalo Sabres. Fully healthy, there's little doubt the 34-year-old can not just have an impact, but a big one with any team. His experience with three Cup runs is invaluable in the NHL.
