Panthers may have hit a home run with this signing

The Florida Panthers have agreed to terms on a one-season, TWO-way contract with forward Chris Tierney.
The deal will pay him $750,000 if he plays in the NHL. At that price, he becomes an exceptional bargain for Florida. On a third or fourth line and even in a top-6 on an inconsistent basis, Tierney can be a great addition.
Last season with the Senators, he scored 18 points in 70 games.
Overall, he has 226 points in 551 games.
