NHL Stars Suspended Over 2018 Team Canada Junior Scandal: Philadelphia Flyers' GM Daniel Briere Speaks Out
Daniel Briere has spoken out on the WJC scandal and how long it is taking the investigation to wrap up.
Briere Speaks Out
Most hockey fans are disappointed in how long it is taking the 2018 WJC investigation to wrap up and have voiced their displeasure with how long it is taking to conclude.
Now, GMs have begun speaking out on the matter and how long it is taking. Philadelphia Flyers GM Daniel Briere has spoken out on how long it is taking and how much he knows.
«We have asked questions, but we don't know much. They're not telling us much. The investigation continues. I have no idea. I thought something would have been resolved before the summer.
We're like everyone else. We're waiting to see what will happen.» - Daniel Brière
How This Affects The Flyers Business
As a GM, Briere handles all of the behind-the-scenes things involving the Flyers. They currently have their starting goaltender, Carter Hart, under investigation. Hart was a member of that Team Canada team and carries a lot of trade value.
Briere is obviously annoyed as he wants clarity on Hart, who has been in trade rumors and if he is found to be a part of the scandal, he is likely to be blacklisted from the NHL.
Now, all we can do is wait and see what happens with the investigation and which players are involved.
