Prior to Saturday afternoon's game, former Montreal Canadiens head coach Michel Therrien revealed what he thought the value of goaltender Jake Allen was.
According to Therrien, Allen would be worth a first round pick.
The Canadiens are in a position to ask for the big money. It would definitely be a first-round pick in return for the veteran goalie's services."
Following that statement, Allen allowed nine goals in the game.
In 25 games this season, the Canadiens' No. 1 goaltender has maintained a 3.52 goals-against average and a .894 save percentage.
