It was a scary scene yesterday when Team Canada player Colton Dach went down with an injury to his left arm. He appeared to grasp his arm quickly and promptly fell to the ice. We are unknown of the diagnosis at this time.

There are easy parallels to the case of his older brother Kirby, who went down with a broken wrist during the 2021 World Juniors. Team Canada officially announced that Colton Dach would miss the rest of the tournament, and that Canadiens prospect Owen Beck would take his place.

This is very sad for Dach, and hopefully this will just be a small blip on an amazing career.
