Former Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Ian Scott has decided to retire from hockey, citing long battles with injuries. He was an uncompensated free agent, as the Leafs did not see fit to qualify him.
His last full season was in 2018-19 with the Prince Albert Raiders, posting a 1.83 goals-against-average and .932 save percentage in 49 games.
Last season he played one game in the ECHL and in 2020-2021, five games in the ECHL and one in the AHL.
