The Nashville Predators make major acquisition

The Nashville Predators have agreed to terms on a two-season contract with forward Nino Niderreiter that will pay him $4 million per year.
Niderreiter, 29, had 44 points, including 24 goals, in 75 games with the Carolina Hurricanes last season.
It was his best season of his career.
