Last season, Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk announced that he wanted to be traded.
Now, according to TSN's Ryan Rishaug, DeBrusk has finally changed his mind.
« Jake DeBrusk's agent, Rick Valette, spoke with Bruins general manager Don Sweeney last week and informed him that DeBrusk's trade request had been rescinded and that he would be happy to remain a Bruin in the future. DeBrusk has 2 years left at 4m, and could still be moved but unlikely at this point. »
It's pretty rare that we see this, but with Brad Marchand out early in the season, DeBrusk probably figured it was a better idea to stay in Boston.
