Luke Schenn already knows he's likely changing destinations before the end of the season. After winning a Stanley Cup in Tampa Bay, the Canucks blueliner will be in high demand for his pedigree.

While hockey is a business, and Schenn understands that after having been traded three times in his fifteen-year career, new factors have come into play.

His wife Jeska is due to give birth to their second child right around deadline day. As most couples would, they would like to have some stability before the birth of their newborn.

This means that Schenn is either staying in Vancouver, or desperately trying to get out before his wife gives birth. This gives the damaged Canucks organization a big decision to make - do they grant the wishes of their veteran defender, or do they end up in another PR nightmare?

Either way, we wish nothing but happiness to the growing Schenn family.
