Lately, there have been several trade rumours involving the Montreal Canadiens. Jesse Puljujarvi has been linked to the Canadiens.
The forward has not had a good start to the season, with only six points and a -12 rating.
Here is what he said yesterday:
"Twenty games and I only have one goal. It's sad. I've been thinking a lot about how to do things differently. At the moment I don't have the answers.
Of course I'd like to be a productive first baseman. But right now, I don't know if I can do that in the NHL. Maybe in another league."
You can see that Puljujarvi has lost a lot of his confidence.
This could be an opportunity for Kent Hughes to pick up this kid on the cheap. Who knows, maybe Martin St-Louis could get him back on the road.
