Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price admitted to The Athletic's Arpon Basu that he joined the NHL's player assistance program because of an alcohol-related problem.

Jonathan Drouin commented on the situation regarding his teammate:

« It must have been difficult for him to go through what he went through. I'm sure he had the support of his family and as soon as we found out, we obviously offered all our support. We made sure we were in touch with him and that he was in the right frame of mind to continue in the right direction.

Today, we're happy when we see Carey; he looks good mentally and we're very happy for him." - Jonathan Drouin

Another proof that Price is well respected by his teammates!
