On October 13, the Columbus Blue Jackets announced that forward Patrik Laine had been injured and would be back in three to four weeks.
Surprise today, as less than two weeks after his upper body injury, Laine will return to the game tonight.
The Finn suffered a sprained right elbow when his arm was pinned between Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Brett Pesce and the glass.
In pain, Laine remained on the bench for a few minutes before returning to the dressing room.
