Rumors of trading defenseman Damon Severson are becoming more and more persistent.
With John Marino, Simon Nemec and Dougie Hamilton, Severson is becoming less and less useful for New Jersey.
The right-handed defenseman is the talk of the league. Why not make a trade with the Canadiens?
Severson is 28 years old and currently earns $4.1M until the end of the season, which is about the same as Mike Hoffman, Evgeny Dadonov and Christian Dvorak.
Here's what some observers are proposing as a deal:
In Montreal: Damon Severson
In New Jersey: A veteran CH forward
It's still a base and some picks could even be added, if this kind of trade happens at the trade deadline.
