Patrick Kane is likely to suit up for a different team come the trade deadline. This will be his first departure from Chicago in his career.

With limited options, front runners include the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers.

The Edmonton Oilers are equally in the conversation, and thanks to The Daily Faceoff, we now know what it would cost the Oilers to acquire him.

The deal would cost them top-prospect Xavier Bourgault, reclamation project Jesse Puljujarvi, a second round pick, and a fifth round pick sent to a third party team to retain salary.

If this is what it costs to acquire Kane, it should be an easy decision. We'll only have to wait and see if Ken Holland can pull it off.
