During his column on BPM Sports, Philippe Boucher, hockey columnist and current general manager of the Drummondville Voltigeurs, did not mince words about Jonathan Drouin.

According to him, he literally slacked off during the summer and that's why he's having trouble catching up to his game shape.

At the beginning of the season, he was in training camp. In the summer, he wasn't working out

Now, the intensity goes up a little bit and he's not able to keep up." - Philippe Boucher

Jonathan Drouin is in the final year of his contract and will become a free agent at the end of the season.

He has two points in six games so far this season.
