Imminent trade between the Canadiens and the Oilers?
Randy Timmins has uncovered a major trade rumour involving the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers.
"*NHL RUMOURS* Lots of noise about talks between MTL and EDM. These talks have been going on for some time and have recently intensified. Could we see a trade involving Edmundson and Puljujarvi?"

The reputable Frank Seravalli also had this to say:
"All signs point to the end being near between Jesse Puljujarvi and the Edmonton Oilers."
And Scott Matla added:
So this will be something to watch closely in the coming days. It's clear, though, that the Oilers will have to give more than Puljujarvi for Edmundson, especially at the salary he commands.
