Robin Lehner will be absent next season due to injury.
Without a number one, many experts believed that Kelly McCrimmon would acquire a top-notch goaltender.
But according to ESPN's Greg Wyshynski, the Vegas general manager has decided to go with his duo of Laurent Brossoit and Logan Thompson.
Brossoit, 29, has played 106 career NHL games. His goals-against-average is 2.84 and his save percentage is just .905.
For Thompson, he's their goalie of the future, but at 25, it's time for him to start waking up. In 20 career NHL games, he has a 2.68 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.
Will McCrimmon eventually get discouraged and acquire a goalie during the season?
To be continued.
