According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Ottawa Senators forward Colin White has been linked to the Montreal Canadiens.
Why again? Because Friedman claims that the Habs had interest at the trade deadline to acquire White.
Colin White's former agent is Kent Hughes, the general manager of the CH. Kent would like to be reunited with his former player, who has not had much success with Ottawa in recent years.
Originally from Boston, White has been bothered more often than not by injuries in recent campaigns. Still, Hughes seems to have a lot of confidence in the 25-year-old center, who was drafted 21st overall in 2015.
In 2021-2022, he recorded 10 points in 24 games with the Sens.
This will obviously be a story to follow.
