One of the big stories of the off-season and possibly the last few years is the fact that Carey Price was not protected for the expansion draft. Fortunately, Seattle didn't claim him and in the end, the Habs kept both goalies.

Dominique Ducharme and several members of the organization were present at the Fondation Dominique Ducharme's benefit golf tournament. He spoke to the media. He talked about Jonathan Drouin, but also about Carey Price.
The CH's interim head coach was never worried about losing his number one goalie.
«I was never nervous. We knew it was possible we would lose Carey, but it was the organization's decision, and they had evaluated every situation and why they thought he would stay with us.» - Dominique Ducharme
Ducharme obviously has confidence in the organization. At least, unlike some fans and members of the organization, he could sleep knowing that Carey Price wasn't going anywhere.
