This week, Tyler Bozak's name has come up. Bozak had the highest point per game average among all unclaimed unrestricted free agents in 2021, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Friedman writes on Sportsnet that the Penguins may explore signing Bozak. Especially with Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin out for the season.
«A couple clubs indicated they were expecting Tyler Bozak's decision on where to play in the next few days. The 764-game veteran has a couple of options. Wonder if one is Pittsburgh, with both Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin injured to start the year.»
It is also reported that Crosby and Malkin are to miss the beginning of the season. A signing of Tyler Bozak isn't a bad idea.
