Cale Makar Sidelined Once Again With Injury
The Colorado Avalanche have had an incredibly unlucky season. Losing hundreds of man games played to injury, including captain Gabriel Landeskog missing most of the season, their cup hopes seem to be fading away.
#1 blueliner and outgoing Conn Smythe and Norris winner Cale Makar was sidelined several games with a head injury suffered in a collision with Jeff Carter of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He returned to play two nights ago against the St. Louis Blues, and subsequently got injured once again.
He is officially day-to-day, and, while we aren't sure if it's related to his head injury, it's easy to make a connection.
Hopefully Makar will be okay, and the Avalanche can push for another cup.
