Jake Muzzin's injuries appear to be much more serious than anticipated.
On Insider Trading, Chris Johnston disclosed some information on the defender, who's been an integral part of the Maple Leafs defensive corps since he joined the team.
Jake Muzzin was in California to see a specialist last week looking at the head and neck area where he has had a number of injuries and I can tell you there is legitimate concern of what the next hit could look like if he were to return.
If Muzzin cannot recover from these injuries, it will be interesting to see what the Maple Leafs do with his cap space.
