It was announced today that the Toronto Maple Leafs and Connor Timmins have come to an agreement on a two-year contract extension.
-
The deal will pay him $1.1-million annually, which locks in the Leafs' young defensive corps of Rasums Sandin, Timothy Liljegren, and himself at only $3.9-million combined next season.
The Leafs acquired Timmins from the Arizona Coyotes via trade earlier in the season. In exchange, they traded 6'9" power forward Curtis Douglas.
