Juraj Slafkovsky was hit a few times this season because he kept his head down. Arber Xhekaj defended him on several occasions.
As a guest on Chris Nilan's podcast, Xhekaj was asked if he had told Slafkovsky to keep his head down. The Canadiens' defenceman gave a rather comical answer.
I told him, 'How many dinners do you want to buy me big guy. Keep your head down, I'll take your free meals." - Arber Xhekaj
