Since the Rookie Tournament, Arber Xhekaj has already dropped the gloves three times. Twice he had to defend himself because an opponent wanted to engage in a fight, and another time he defended Kirby Dach.
From fighting, the defenseman wanted to set the record straight about this:
« I am not a fighter. I'm a hockey player who can fight. » - Arber Xhekaj
We noticed his hockey skills as well. Arber has a good rebound, he is able to score and he is also able to anticipate plays. He's really a great find for Marc Bergevin.
