Alexis Lafreniere is having a rough season with only 17 points, including five goals in 36 games. In fact, he was left out of the last game.

Several trade rumours then emerged. The journalist, Ali Murji, reveals what the Rangers would ask for in return for Lafreniere. A first round pick or an impact player would be requested by the New York team.

"I'm told that teams have started making calls about Alexis Lafreniere, a trade doesn't seem immediate though. Also, the Rangers are in the market for a first round pick and/or a high caliber player." - Ali Murji

It remains to be seen if any teams will be willing to pay that price to acquire Lafreniere.
