With the playoffs well underway, it's normal that the intensity reaches a new level.
We've seen it during game four between the Leafs and the Panthers.
Players don't hold back on hits. A great example of that is when Radko Gudas violently sent David Kampf on the floor after the whistle.

Many didn't appreciate the hit. Especially Sheldon Keefe.

It seems clear that Gudas' intentions we're to injure Kampf.
He's known to play with a physical style and have injured many player with dangerous hits.
