BREAKING: Andrei Vasilevskiy Sidelined For Months
We just learned some terrible news from Tampa Bay.
Vasilevskiy Undergoes Surgery, Expected to Miss Several Weeks
Kevin Weekes reported the news on X:
"Breaking News 🚨 📰 🚑
I'm told @TBLightning G Vasilevskiy 88 underwent successful back surgery and is expected to make a complete recovery in an 8-10 week timeframe."
This is truly bad for the Bolts, who will need to rely on Jonas Johansson, their newly acquired backup goalie, for the first two months of the season.
Updates will follow.
