Two NHL Heavyweights Drop the Gloves in the Fight of the Decade
The New York Rangers recently called up 6'8" center Matt Rempe. Since then, the kid has been on a path of destruction.
Rangers Rookie Initiates Fight Of The Season With NHL Veteran
The 21-year-old rookie clearly is not afraid of anyone. Despite this being just his fourth game in the NHL, it is already his second fight, as he fought in his debut as well. This one was a doozy too as Rempe and Deslauriers went at it for the director's cut version.
We just witnessed the fight of the decade Involving Deslauriers and 6 foot 8 rookie Rempe!!!!
Many are calling this fight the best of the season. Both players held there own as there was no clear winner, but they each got solid blows in on their opponent.
Rempe sure seems to be the kind of player that could become well-known quite quickly if he continues this kind of play. He is already catching the attention of many across the league. At just 21 years old, there is still plenty of time for him to become the next great fighter in the NHL.
