BREAKING: Bad news for Max Pacioretty
Terrible news emerges for Capitals forward Max Pacioretty.
Pacioretty Still injured
Last season, Max Pacioretty only played 5 games due to multiple Achilles tears. He managed to score 3 goals in that time but it is clear that he is not healthy yet.
Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery gave a grim update on Pacioretty.
"I'm not sure of the exact timeline," admitted Carbery as per NHL.com "I don't think he'll be ready for the start of the regular season. But whether it's in the November timeframe or December, whenever he's healthy and ready to go, I think it gives us a great asset in Max to be able to, partway into the season, potentially give us a real jolt offensively in our top six, someone who can help us on the power play, someone who has proven time and time again that they can find ways to score, which is something that is coveted around the League."
It seems like the Capitals are being quite cautious with Pacioretty's injury as they are worried that a third Achilles tear would spell the end of his career.
Missing any significant amount of time is brutal for any NHLer but it seems like Pacioretty will continue to stay sidelined after a longer recovery.
As seen on HockeyFeed - Capitals share disappointing update on Pacioretty.
