Knights Hire Two New Coaches

The Vegas Golden Knights have just announced two new coaches that they have hired.

Dominque Ducharme and Joel Ward will be assistant coaches underneath Bruce Cassidy as they will look to help coach the Knights to a dynasty.

Ducharme has coached at multiple levels and has peaked as an NHL Head Coach but only held the position for about a year in Montreal. Ducharme coached the Montreal Canadiens to the Stanley Cup Finals but eventually was defeated by the Tampa Bay Lightning in five games.

Ward on the other hand is relatively new to coaching. He is most well known as a player who played over 700 NHL games with multiple successful seasons and deep playoff runs but never was able to lift the Stanley Cup as a player. He will now look to do so as a coach. He only has three years of coaching experience, all coming with the Golden Knights AHL team, the Henderson Silver Knights as an assistant coach.
