Teammate's Bold Statement About Oilers' Captain, Connor McDavid!
Connor McDavid has been the best player in the NHL for the past couple of seasons and he'll have an extra motivation to stay on top next season: Connor Bedard.
The arrival of the next hockey superstar in the NHL will surely motivate the other players with that level to push even harder.
According to one of his teammates, if McDavid remains healthy, he'll be even better than last year, where he scores 153 points, somehting we haven't seen a lot in the last 30 years.
Another Level of McDavidness?
Here's what Vincent Desharnais said during a podcast:
"I swear to you, he's going to break records again! I'm telling you right now, and let's knock on wood that he stays healthy, but I'm telling you, he's going be Nasty!"
Desharnais is convinced that McDavid is about to show the hockey world who's the boss!
He also added a quick word on Leon Draisaitl:
"The upcoming season, he and Leon are going to be dangerous!"
It's hard to see how McDavid could have a better season than last year, but it really seems like the sky's the limit for him.
He was unstoppable in the last few seasons, we can't imagine what's going to happen if he gets hungrier!
