Bruce Cassidy takes a shot at the Arizona Coyotes During Post-Game Remarks
For the second consecutive game, the Golden Knights have failed to eliminate the Dallas Stars.
After winning the first three games of the series, Vegas' play wasn't convincing. It's now 3-2, and the Stars are looking to force the tenure of an ultimate seventh game.
Bruce Cassidy wasn't happy with his team's performance and let everyone know in his post-game comments.
Cassidy Takes a Shot at the Arizona Coyotes During Post-Game Remarks
Vegas' players simply haven't been playing well enough to win a Conference Final game in the last two matches. Their defensive play has not been good. If it weren't for Adin Hill, who has been mostly excellent in front of their net, the Stars would have dominated them.
In his post-game comments, Cassidy compared his team to one of the worst of last season: the Coyotes.
Here's what he said:
"We have 24 giveaways. I'm not sure you're beating the Arizona Coyotes in January with 24 giveaways."
"That's no disrespect to Arizona, but it's not the right way to play."
If this isn't enough to wake his players up, I don't know what will.
For now, they'll focus on the next game, which will be Monday night. The players will certainly try to keep the number of giveaways to a minimum.
As seen on Blade of Steel - Bruce Cassidy takes a very unnecessary shot at the Arizona Coyotes during post-game comments
