This slew foot is reminiscent of Brad Marchand and PK Subban which often resulted in a fine for the star players. The maximum fine allowable by the CBA is a $5,000 fine which Hoglander will likely receive if he is not suspended.

Hoglander's Promising Future In Vancouver

Hoglander was a 2nd round pick in the 2019 draft and has loads of offensive potential in the NHL. Through 158 career games, Hoglander has registered 31 goals and 62 points. This year he has five goals and eight points in 17 games.

Hoglander has yet to eclipse his totals from his rookie year on 27 points in 56 games but he has had numerous head coaches and some did not give him the playing time he needed. So far this year he is averaging 10:23 a night which is about five minutes lower than his rookie averages.

His name is always tied to trade rumors and if the Canucks do not start utilizing their young talent soon, he could walk away and prove his worth with another franchise.
