Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. showed up to Toronto's pivotal Game 7 matchup of the American League Championship Series (ALCS) against the Seattle Mariners in an Auston Matthews jersey, sparking discussion.

Heading into the Rogers Centre for the Toronto Blue Jays must-win Game 7, with a trip to the World Series on the line, Guerrero came into the arena wearing the jersey of his nearby neighbor, Auston Matthews.

Toronto Maple Leafs fans, who have had their share of heartbreak, specifically in Game 7's, had an obviously concerned reaction to Vladdy's "tribute" to Auston Matthews.
Many hockey fans pointed to the Leafs poor Game 7 luck, with it noted that the Leafs are 0-7 in Game 7's in the last 20 years, and that Matthews has not won a Game 7 as a Maple Leaf.
