The Toronto Maple Leafs development camp roster was unveiled on Monday, with several notable names being invited to take part.

As the NHL offseason is set to really kick off on Tuesday thanks to the opening of free agency, the Toronto Maple Leafs are already focused on the future of their club, and after having a decent draft; it looks like the prospect pool has improved (albeit slightly).
We'll get our first taste of some of these highly touted prospects during development camp, but the question is who would actually get the call to appear?

Maple Leafs unveil Development Camp Roster for 2025-26

We now have an answer, as the team unveiled the 2025-26 Development Camp roster and it includes some pretty big names.
Top prospect Easton Cowan is set to take part, as well as 2024 first round pick Ben Danford; Tinus Luc Koblar, the 64th pick in this year's draft will also be taking place.
The team will also see several of their NCAA signings take part as well including Luke Haymes, John Prokop and Ryan Kirwan; plus several other names who have hype around them like Miroslav Holinka and Nicholas Moldenhauer.
The vast group of players gives Craig Berube and his coaches a chance to see who might be closest to eking out a role in the big leagues, and several players are certainly on the cusp of becoming NHL regulars.

Who to watch?

We will most likely see a big emphasis on Cowan and Danford, however there's guys like Borya Valis; a player who scored 81 points in 66 games with Prince George this season also trying to make their mark.
We'll also see several cuts, and from the list it looks like there are some names who might not stick around as long as others, finding their way back to the NCAA, the ECHL, AHL, or Juniors once again.
Later on in the offseason we'll also more than likely have a Prospect Showcase, and several of the names towards the end of cuts will get a chance to strut their stuff in game action; Cowan did it last year as well as former Leafs prospect Fraser Minten; who made his NHL debut this season.
It's an exciting time to be a Maple Leafs fan, with all the moves and trades that have happened recently, and a fairly decent group of prospects, things are finally looking up.
Now just go out there and win a Stanley Cup.
