The Toronto Maple Leafs are reportedly looking at moves for forward Calle Jarnkrok, with an Atlantic Division team potentially in the mix.

X (formerly Twitter) user made the claim, which gained a lot of popularity within Leafs circles, although it's validity has not been confirmed in a major media outlet. The account 'OGTrelivier' claimed there were rumblings, none of which has surfaced in social media from traditional hockey insiders.

Although there's no confirmation, there is some likely accuracy to come from this. Top prospects Easton Cowan and Fraser Minten have been linked to potential options in the Leafs lineup for next season. Defenseman Topi Niemela may also make a longshot push to contend for a spot on what is expected to be a radically different looking Leafs blueline.

The account says the team is expected to add ELC and league minimum deals to fix their blueline. Toronto has been linked to multiple high priced defensive options in free agency.

Jarnkrok, 32, had 10 goals, 11 assists & 21 points in 52 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs this past season, going pointless in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Jarnkrok has two seasons remaining on his contract at $2.1M per season, but also has a Modified No-Trade Clause.
