Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton had a pretty clear message for how the team can best handle Sam Bennett's egregious hit on Anthony Stolarz.

With the Maple Leafs looking to double up their series lead on the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night, the game is going to feature lots of hostility, physicality, and a crowd that won't let Florida hear the end of their displeasure.

Winning Is The Sweetest Revenge: Scott Laughton

Although the team might not be going after Bennett literally, they certainly can do their best to make his life miserable without sacrificing discipline. A hot start, coupled with some solid goaltending might just throw the Panthers off their game.
But for forward Scott Laughton, he certainly knows one way to get them even more frustrated, and dish out some revenge in the process; just win the game:
To win. That's how you get them. Play them the same way - physical. Play their top guys hard. At the end of the day, it's about winning and punishing them that way.
It's great to see Laughton echo his head coach's words earlier this week, and the best way to rub it in their faces is to make sure they don't repeat.
Toronto needs to be as physical as they can without risking being too undisciplined and reckless. There's a fine line between malice and grittiness; a line that Paul Maurice's Panthers seem to step over quite a bit.
If the team can neutralize the inevitable frustrations the Panthers are going to bring, there is a huge chance that the Maple Leafs can come out of the series victorious and headed to the Conference Finals.
They are without Anthony Stolarz which isn't the greatest news in the world, however Joseph Woll and Matt Murray are both more than capable of holding things down for the rest of the series if need be.
Laughton has to pick things up at least offensively a bit if Toronto wants any chance at moving on. While his defensive game has helped immensely, a few points here and there can go a long way.
But if the team can keep things focused and locked down offensively, defensively, and in terms of special teams? Laughton's plan for revenge might just come to fruition.
The team might just have to deal with some nonsense along the way to the Stanley Cup however.
