Maple Leafs Zero in on Surprising Odd-Man Out Ahead of the Trade Deadline
The Toronto Maple Leafs are poised to make some roster moves ahead of the deadline, and now it appears they have zeroed in on who the odd man out is.
Noah Gregor Appears to Be Last on the Block For the Leafs Ahead of the Deadline
The Toronto Maple Leafs, for the first time in a while, have a number of fairly good prospects in their bottom that have earned themselves some value on the free market. This would include the likes of Nick Robertson, Noah Gregor, and
Bobby McMann, all players who struggled to get into the lineup at the beginning of the season.
Now, it's safe to say if any of these guys leave the roster, they would be missed. However, it appears that Noah Gregor might be the one on his way out. Yesterday, Gregor continued in his extras sweater, not assigned to any lines, as
Calle Jarnkrok made his return.

Jarnkrok's Return A Great Sign For Leafs Roster But Means Someone Is Out
Jarnkrok is quickly making himself available again, which is great news for the Leafs' roster. He is a reliable depth scorer, and will do well on the third or fourth line with how they are currently configured. However, this does mean that the Leafs will have to officially make a roster move at some point.
A lot of people are pointing to Noah Gregor to be the one who should be waived and sent to the minors, however, the Leafs will risk potentially losing him to waivers.
We will see what happens as the Leafs formally make their move.
