Maple Leafs Urged to Consider Critical Lineup Shakeup Due to Ongoing Struggles

The Toronto Maple Leafs might want to finally make a lineup change for Game 4 after some pretty dismal performances from two of their key forwards.
After a miserable end to Game 3 thanks to Brad Marchand's overtime winner, the Maple Leafs will head back to Florida with only a one game lead in the series, with one mission in mind: Come out with a win at any cost.
It's not going to be easy, and with Anthony Stolarz out for the foreseeable future, things are going to heavily rely on not only Joseph Woll's performance, but that of everyone else from top to bottom.
Their lineup has had some serious bright spots in William Nylander, Matthew Knies, John Tavares, and Mitch Marner.
The usual suspects, but even Max Pacioretty is getting in on the fun.
But there are some falling behind, which is not only bad news for Toronto's success in Round Two, but it gives credence to the fact that Craig Berube's stubbornness can come back to bite him.
It's Time To Rest Bobby McMann and Calle Jarnkrok For Game 4
To say that Bobby McMann and Calle Jarnkrok have been unimpressive this postseason is an understatement.
With only two assists between the two of them, their placement in the lineup is almost feeling like a detriment, and it's hurting the Maple Leafs badly.
It's not just Jarnkrok, the veteran expected to help out, but McMann, who after scoring 20 goals in the regular season has gone ice cold.
While he's been a speedy and physical forward, he has been invisible offensively, and the fact that Toronto has Nicholas Robertson waiting there to at least be a different look is a bit shocking.
Yes, Berube likes to stick with what works, but both men aren't working in this current lineup structure and perhaps a mental reset is in order.
Robertson has a history of being able to come into the game after a benching and perform, and there's no harm in putting him in for either man; it's not like he can be any worse.
Not having played since Game 2 of Round One, Robertson has to be given some chance to showcase how he can help the team.
Besides if Jarnkrok isn't performing, then where is David Kampf? He's making $2.4M to sit on the sidelines and could be a huge factor in shutting down Florida; so his absence is a mystery.
Toronto can't just rely on the stars to help out, and thankfully guys like Pacioretty and Morgan Rielly are helping out.
But it's up to Bobby McMann and Calle Jarnkrok to start getting something done, because a press box visit isn't too far out of the question for both guys.
