Toronto Maple Leafs projected lines have been announced for Game 6 against the Ottawa Senators.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are making a slight adjustment to their lineup ahead of their third attempt at closing out their playoff matchup against Ottawa, having lost their last two games after taking a 3-0 series lead, looking to avoid a must-win Game 7.
After a 4-0 loss to Ottawa in Game 5, the Leafs are doing some shifting around of their lineup, but hesitating to make a full revamp of the lines.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have made a change in their middle-six, Pacioretty joining the second line, with Pacioretty joining the second line with John Tavares and William Nylander, and Domi on the third line.
The Toronto Maple Leafs lines in practice are as follows:
Matthew Knies - Auston Matthews - Mitch Marner
Max Pacioretty - John Tavares - William Nylander
Bobby McMann - Pontus Holmberg - Max Domi
Steven Lorentz - Scott Laughton - Calle Jarnkrok
Morgan Rielly - Brandon Carlo
Jake McCabe - Chris Tanev
Simon Benoit - Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Max Pacioretty - John Tavares - William Nylander
Bobby McMann - Pontus Holmberg - Max Domi
Steven Lorentz - Scott Laughton - Calle Jarnkrok
Morgan Rielly - Brandon Carlo
Jake McCabe - Chris Tanev
Simon Benoit - Oliver Ekman-Larsson
In net, the Leafs are sticking with Anthony Stolarz, who has played all five games in the playoff series against the Sens.
Beyond that, the Toronto Maple Leafs are not making any playoff changes to the team so far, with Craig Berube stating that right now his focus isn't on making any major shakeups.
Berube says Domi is not being demoted, but Berube sees Pacioretty as a strong fit next to Tavares and Nylander who played with Pacioretty earlier in the season.
Toronto Maple Leafs Sticking With Lineup From Game 5 Loss Against Ottawa
Toronto is still trusting in their lines that have struggled to finish off the Ottawa Senators.
Domi has a goal in five games, an overtime winner in Game 2 that put the Leafs up 2-0.
Pacioretty has not had a point in three games, having been injured earlier in the lesson and returning for game 3.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are still keeping Joseph Woll out from action. Woll has not played for Toronto in the playoffs, with the Leafs focused on just one goalie.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will look to finally close out the 'Battle of Ontario' series an avoid a Game 7 and yet another embarrassing first round exit from the Stanley Cup playoffs.
