The Toronto Maple Leafs have invited OHL star netminder Austin Elliott to training camp after a dominant season.

The Leafs are bringing London Knights goalie Austin Elliott to the team's development camp following his dominant OHL season.
After being released by the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League, Elliott moved from the West to the East of Canada, signing with the London Knights.
Despite a dominant WHL career that includes a 58-14-5 record in 85 games played with Saskatoon, Elliott was forced out to make way for Leafs prospect Brandon Lisowsky due to overager rules.
The move came with an absolute domination in net for Elliott who in the regular season put up a whopping 32-1-0-0 record with an OHL-leading 2.10GAA and a .924sv%.

Elliott Making Major Jump After Dominating Season In OHL

Austin Elliott will have the chance to get reps with the Toronto Maple Leafs rookies with the potential of a contract.
Elliott won the Memorial Cup with the London Knights, alongside Leafs top prospect Easton Cowan, Elliott also having been named the tournament's top goaltender.
Elliott had a 16-1-0 record in the postseason, and a 4-1-0 record in the Memorial Cup, backstopping the Knignts to victory in an unlikely manner.
Invited to rookie camp, Elliott will get a shot at impressing Leafs management, and proving himself beyond his incredible streak.
This isn't the first time Austin Elliott has been involved with the Leafs. He had attended development camp as an undrafted invite back in 2023.
Elliott currently has an NCAA commitment to the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, expected to join the team next season.
A massive tournament going from a forgotten piece in one league, to dominating a brand new system in such a strong fashion will make Elliott a highly intriguing option in the Leafs depth chart.
He'll be put behind a deep goalie system with young talents that include Joseph Woll, as well as prospects Dennis Hildeby & Artur Akhtyamov.
The Toronto Maple Leafs quickly swoop in and take on one of the most promising unsigned players in junior hockey, and a player who has shown this season he cannot stop winning, even in the biggest moments.
