Insider confirms teams already inquiring about Mitch Marner

NHL insider Nick Kypreos has confirmed that there are trade rumors surrounding Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner.

Kypreos went on the record to claim that multiple NHL teams have reached out to general manager Brad Treliving about Mitch Marner's services. It is interesting because of Marner's incredible NHL resume that he currently bolsters.

Marner closes in on 100 points nearly every year and has made three all-star game appearances. His next contract could be even more than his current contract.



Additionally, teams that will be looking to bring in Marner might not be rebuilding teams, they would be some heavy hitters and big players who need to make a splash to return to their winning ways.

While we can speculate, the teams that have contacted Brad Treliving aren't confirmed as of right now. There are multiple, but the Marner sweepstakes will be put ablaze when more insiders start to report what they're hearing.


Marner will demand a hefty price not just for a trade, but for a contract, he will be even more expensive.
