Elliotte Friedman reveals major info regarding Keefe's Future
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman just revealed some huge news regarding the future of the Leafs with head coach Sheldon Keefe.
Elliotte Friedman is one of if not the most reputable NHL insider. He constantly reveals information to the NHL community and does so before his counterparts.
On the 32 Thoughts podcast hosted by Friedman and Jeff Marek, Friedman revealed a massive piece of information regarding Sheldon Keefe's future in Toronto
With the Leafs officially hiring Brad Treliving, he may decide that Keefe needs to go in favor of somebody new. The Leafs also lost assistant coach Spencer Carbery to the Washington Capitals so they would likely need to hire two coaches who work well together.
There are many interesting names on the block but I would look for the Leafs to target Patrick Roy or Peter Laviolette if the Leafs fire Keefe.
If they decide to fire Sheldon Keefe, they should do so sooner rather than later because other teams are looking for a new head coach like the New York Rangers and the Calgary Flames.
