Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube didn't hold back when he explained to media how he felt about Max Domi's penalty that ended up being a difference maker.

Although the Maple Leafs couldn't end up the sweepers on Saturday night after a tough 4-3 OT loss thanks to a Drake Sanderson winner, the team should still feel confident about going back home into Game 5 as they look to lock things down on Tuesday.
The team truthfully didn't play the best game of the series and while Ottawa didn't necessarily play the greatest game either, it was enough to win the game and weather the Maple Leafs sweep for just one more game, even if their rivals got a bit lucky.

Craig Berube Not Happy With Max Domi's Undisciplined Behavior

But in that below average game came one big issue, and that was the Max Domi double-minor that gave Ottawa the advantage early on. Craig Berube has done a good job in keeping his team disciplined for the most part, and the head coach admitted that his forward needs to get his emotions in check:
It's not a good one [the double-minor]; he knows that. His emotions got a little too high there and involved. That's one he knows he can't take and our team doesn't want to take.
The play in question happened when Max took the face-off against Shane Pinto, and after being separated; gave a butt-ended shot to Pinto's chin.
Fans weren't the happiest about the situation either, and with it costing the Maple Leafs in a crucial game, they have an argument.
The series as a whole has been heated and testy since the first game, and with Ridly Greig's antics, the whole Nick Cousins debacle, and the constant presence of Brady Tkachuk; who won't hesitate to make an off-handed comment or ten. It's all about mind games with the Senators and in Game 4, it worked.
Toronto can't let Ottawa get in their heads and need to do a better Jon at developing a thicker skin. Yes, the referees do let things go a bit more in the playoffs, but these types of actions will get dinged every time (well they should).
So Craig Berube needs to get Max Domi's head back in the game and make sure that his veteran forward doesn't get too ahead of himself and cost the team again.
The Maple Leafs can't afford any setbacks, and a lack of discipline is a huge step in the wrong direction.
