Mitch Marner was taken down by a blatant high stick during Game Two of the Battle of Ontario, and the non-call on the star forward has fans up in arms.

Things didn't exactly get to the level of the first game of the Battle of Ontario, and there wasn't any last minute fracases to deal with, although it didn't stop things from feeling tense, especially as the game spilled into overtime.
Max Domi played hero on Tuesday night, and the Maple Leafs headed into Game Three in Ottawa with a commanding series lead with the chance to put the Senators on the ropes.
Things did get a little heated at points however, as we saw Anthony Stolarz trying to chop down Ridly Greig in his crease, and we also saw several players take exception to some of Ottawa's less than polite actions during the game.
However, there was one particular incident that caused quite the stir.
Marner ended up receiving a high stick that ended up cutting him. What should have been a double minor was actually not called whatsoever, and fans are debating on whether or not one should have been made.
A lot of the debate comes off the fact of whether or not Thomas Chabot actually shot the puck to lead to a follow through; it's clear he didn't have exactly the right idea of where the puck was (caught in a bundle of skates) and tried to take a full shot with minimal room.
It was not the smartest decision on Chabot's end, and while it didn't cost the Senators anything in terms of goals against or infractions, it might lead to the team to receive some payback from the Maple Leafs during the next game.
It didn't stop Marner from producing clearly, as he had another assist and finished plus-1 on the night and also added thee blocks, showing he's willing to put his body on the line even with his superstar status.
Marner so far has four points in the first two games, and if he can continue the current pace he's on, then Toronto is going to be in a very good spot heading into a potential Finals run.
So while things didn't turn out for the Maple Leafs with regards to Marner drawing a penalty, the fact remains that Toronto has a 2-0 series lead, and Ottawa is really starting to feel the heat.
